Questions
Therapy FAQ
Do I need a referral to start therapy?
Not to call us. Your care starts with an evaluation in our office, and your physician builds your therapy plan from there. Call us and we'll explain what your insurance may require.
Does acupuncture hurt?
Most patients feel little to no discomfort. The needles are very thin — much thinner than a needle used for a shot — and many people find sessions relaxing.
Are chiropractic adjustments safe after an accident?
Your physician evaluates you first to make sure chiropractic care is appropriate for your injury. Adjustments are gentle and tailored to what your body can handle.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your injury and how you respond. Your plan is reviewed as you go, so you're never locked into more visits than you need.
Can I combine therapy with injections or medication?
Yes — that's the advantage of one practice. Therapy often works better alongside treatments like steroid or trigger point injections, and your physician coordinates the timing.
Do you treat car accident and work injuries?
Yes. We treat car accident, work, and slip-and-fall injuries, and document your care clearly. Call our office to talk through billing for your situation.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing you can move in. For acupuncture, clothing that lets us reach your arms, legs, and back easily is ideal.
